New · a NAIFA-Alabama member opportunity

Be the advisor the AI recommends.

When a client, a CPA, or an estate attorney asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google's AI for an advisor, your name should come up. The AI Website & Search Positioning Package makes your practice readable to the AI engines, so you show up in the answer, not on the tenth page of search.

The package

AI Website & Search Positioning

The optional, hands-on next step for advisors who want their own brand in the AI's answer. AdvisorListen stays free for every NAIFA member, always — this is for the few who want to go further.

AI Website & Search Positioning Package

Done with you, against a written specification.

$225/ hourtypically 2 to 3 hours
  • Call one, the audit. We look at your site and your firm together and find exactly where the AI engines lose you.
  • The build. A properly structured llms.txt, the right metadata and schema on your homepage, and an AI-readable bio and FAQ, so the engines read you correctly.
  • Call two, the review. We check the results after setup and confirm you are showing up the way you should.
Got a template or locked-down site? That is the first thing we check. If your builder allows meta tags or a custom page, and most do even when they feel locked, I do the work right in place. If it is truly locked, I host an AI-readable profile and llms.txt on our side and point the engines there. Either way, you get found, at the same hourly rate.

Want more than the basics? Deeper engagements bill the same way, by the hour. Nothing goes out under the NAIFA-Alabama banner without the chapter's sign-off.

Page two — the bigger picture

And when the quick win is not enough, the full practice.

The positioning package is the fast, concrete first step. Below is the rest of what I do: fixed-scope AI advisory for advisors, associations, and regulated organizations that want to build something real and own it.

An AI advisor for advisors

I get you on the right path, then leave the keys on my way out.

Most AI consultants quietly build themselves into your org chart. I do the opposite. I bring the right team together, set the direction, build what's missing, and hand you something you own and your people can run without me.

Why this matters

The technology almost never fails. The early decisions do.

In 2025, forty-two percent of companies walked away from most of their AI work, up from seventeen percent the year before. Close to ninety-five percent of enterprise AI pilots returned nothing you could measure.

Dig into why and it is almost never the model. It is data that was not ready, a use case picked before anyone understood the actual work, and no one deciding what success looked like before the build started. Those are the choices I am there for. The cheap ones to get right now, and the brutally expensive ones to fix later.

The model

Four moves, and then I am gone.

01

Bring the right team together

Most groups do not need a bigger budget. They need the right three or four people, inside and out, pointed at the right problem, with someone who has done this before deciding who does what.

02

Set the right path

We pick the first use case from the real workflow, not the one that demos well, and define the outcome and how we measure it before any code gets written. The expensive wrong turns happen here, so this is where the care goes.

03

Build what is missing

I build the part that is actually missing. The data foundation, the system, the guardrails. The same way AdvisorListen gets built and run. Production discipline, not a prototype that dies in a drawer.

04

Hand you the keys, and leave

Your people train on the system while it is built, so the capability stays when I do not. The documentation, the access, the playbook, all of it yours.

No lock-in. A clean exit is the deliverable.

The honest part

My whole job is to make you not need me.

There is a real risk with a one-person shop, that everything ends up depending on the one person. I take that risk off the table by making the handoff the point of the work instead of an afterthought. I bring in the right specialists when a project needs them, and I write everything down so your team owns it. If I have done the job well, the most valuable thing I leave behind is your own people, able to run it without a call to me.

Engagements

Fixed scope. Fixed price. You know the cost before we start.

If someone cannot quote you a fixed price for a clear deliverable, they either do not know what they are going to do or they are hoping you spend more than you need to. Everything here is scoped and priced up front, against a written specification.

AI Readiness Audit

from $2,500

A week of work, one written roadmap. Where AI actually helps you, what to build versus buy, and what to leave alone. The cheapest way to avoid a five-figure mistake.

AI Sprint

from $12,000

Four to six weeks. One real use case taken from idea to a working pilot in production, with a defined outcome, so you see the value before committing to the full rollout.

Build, Operate, Transfer

scoped per system

I design, build, and run the system, train your people on it as we go, then hand over the keys and step out. You own it the day I leave.

Fractional, on retainer

from $1,400 / mo

A steady hand at the decision table for a longer stretch. Month to month, end it whenever you want, no lock-in and no long contract to sign.

Proof, not promises

An operator, not an adviser.

The difference between me and most of the field is simple. I run production AI right now.

Who this is for

Best if you have been burned before.

This works best for advisors, associations, and regulated, relationship-driven organizations that have either watched an AI project stall or are about to start one and want the first decisions made well. If you want to own what gets built, and not be tied to the person who built it, this is the right conversation.

Tell me what you are trying to do.

A short call, no deck, just whether this is a fit. If it is not, I will tell you that too.
